Later, a Unity goal kick was taken out of the air by Chloe Laureano (Yale) who would combine with Pierre-Jerome for the final score of the night.
In the Sunday match against Jacksonville, the Sting got the scoring started in the 56th minute, when Victoria Bubrick (Cornell) took the ball away from a Jacksonville defender, passed it back to midfielder Kayla McNamara (Clarion), who passed it right back to Bubrick as she slipped by the defender into open space just outside the left side of the 18, Bubrick laid out a cross right at the feet of Rosa Santoro (Alcorn State) who knocked it in for the goal. Sunrise added two more in the final 10-minutes of the match.
